Hello again, it me and the following Sunday blog is going to be about bad ergonomics examples mostly from console playing. I have been playing on console since first class so I have pretty much experience. There are two constructions that I think we need to talk about. At the beginning of this market vendors tried to show everything they had. It led to the same very bad design controller or the idea preceded its age. I cannot remember which birthday of mine was that when I got a very special present it was a controller to my Playstation. Its name is Jogoc. It has a very weird design because it has a steering wheel in the middle of the device. Its purpose was to drive more precisely in the racing games than the traditional controller. For obvious reasons it did not live up to expectations. Let’s move on to the next example which is called Soul controller. It was designed for samurai games. I would try that again with the ghost of tushima for sure, of course with some updated gyros...
Hello everybody this is my weekly blog and today I am going to talk about my professional development in my home country. I am working and studying in Cyber Security so I have quite a lot of experience in the field. It is not representative research, it is only an opinion I wanted to nail down. I have been working at one of the biggest EU telecommunication companies since 2019. I come from Hungary and work at Telekom. However, Magyar Telekom Nyrt is a separate company that has a lot of connections with Deutsche Telekom, so it is a multinational company in Hungary. There are a lot of differences between big and startup companies - I think it is pretty common-. The biggest generational difference in IT and in general in Hungary is how important the BSC diploma is. Because my boss and my parents also support my to gain as many diplomas as possible, my project manager and my samel age suggest that I gain experience and certificates. I would say the best way is somewhere between these two. ...
Hello everybody I am here again and today I brought you guys a book again which came from Virginia Shea and the title is Ten Commandments. This book is about what a user needs to know before entering cyberspace. I do not want to spoil the whole book for you so I will pick one topic from the book and share my opinion about it.  I will share the most interesting paragraph for me which was about knowing where you are in cyberspace. Let me bring an everyday example first and there won't be any connection with the internet so far. So if a person is a part of the community that person needs to choose the right language form like formal or informal for instance and it becomes much more difficult nowadays, for instance I need to speak informal to some of my bosses but some requires the formal language. Other hand, it could be harmful if that person is too polite. I am sure everybody has at least one friend who is very polite with you and after a time it becomes annoying. So what I w...
Hello again it is me and we still stay around the rights of a creation. I am going to talk about ‘copyleft’. At the beginning I will talk about what is copyleft itself then I will show up with one of how I modified someone else's project and created something better. Spoiler!! without a copyleft system I could not do that in this way. I am sure we can agree on that every intellectual property has to be protected by the law Without this protection it would be easy to steal somebody else's idea and sell it on the market before the other individual even notices that. But what about if I have an idea but I do not have a resource or something that blocks me from implementing that idea. Copyleft helps me to create this with others. This technology allows to freely distribute and modify intellectual. The most popular copylefting was created by programmer and member of American Free Software Movement Mr Richard Matthew Stallman and its name is GNU GPL(General Public license). License...
Hello again it is me, today I am going to talk about a book again. I would like to get in the mood to read the whole book. To achieve that I am going to show and share my opinion about the first two paragraphs. The book was published by Rick Falkvinge and it is about the reform of the copyright system. Two quotes from the first paragraph which passed me to think. “The only way to even try to limit file sharing is to remove the right to private communication.” it is true it is impossible to restrict file sharing without somehow checking private messaging, but it is not obvious how we are doing that. I would show two scenarios. The first one is when a group of people are reading messages which are not that effective and another human can see our private and confidential data. The second when an algorithm checks messages and file extensions is banned from chatting, but here a malfunction algorithm can cause a lot of damage. To sum it is a very swampy surface and we need to be carefu...
Hello again it is me, today I am going to talk about the challenges of the global information society review. The today topic is going to be based on a book ( https://web.archive.org/web/20170221105053/https://www.eduskunta.fi/FI/tietoaeduskunnasta/julkaisut/Documents/tuvje_1+2004.pdf ) check it guys it is interesting. Pekka Himanen created research some years ago about the challenges in information society. It basically gives us 10 points that the society and government should take under consideration for future development. Let me show you the most interesting ones: Everybody knows in the EU that Estonia is a ‘digital country’ that means it provides beneficial taxes and a law system for IT companies. However I have not lived here long. I noticed that at the beginning. Therefore Estonia became famous for innovation. I am from Hungary so we know what the population is and it is very dangerous for democracy and for rule of law as well: it is spreading easily in free and poor countries s...
Hello again today I am going to talk about instant messaging. I would like to show how it influences me every day. I was 3 rd grade in grammar school my age was around 9 but for obvious reason plus minus 1 year, so I was ) when my father bought us the first internet and we had only one PC to use so we needed to share it. I had 1 hour every day. I did not play that much on PC when I was young so I was chatting on MSN. I could read 2-3 lines of ‘text’ without any known character. If you can remember MSN there was a function in it to form character sets to an emoji or a gif. This was my fist connection with live messaging and the internet. In this time mostly I was talking with my friends about where and when we will meet to go biking and it unfortunately has already changed but I will talk about it later. After some time I registered on Facebook around 2008 I was 11. At that time I still had access to the internet on the common computer so the theme did not change until 2010 when I got m...
